Jobs replaced by AI, by role
The roles companies name when they blame layoffs on AI. 87,224 jobs across 38 companies, re-indexed by the work that was replaced, most-named role first. Customer support leads by a distance. Each layoff's job count is the company-wide total and is counted under every role it named, so role figures overlap; the per-company figures are on the layoffs tracker.
